They will bowl. Okay, so this event may not have cosmic implications; it’s still cool to think about. Bowling Down the Coast will be the first in the Young Alumni Council’s “Down the Coast” series, the idea of the YAC Clubs Committee’s new co-chair, Sumona Basu '06. A member of the great Class of 2006, Sumona was a founding member and president of the Association of Student Alumni (the ASAs), among many activities. After graduation, she felt it was important to remain connected, engaged, and involved—and to help other young alumni do the same. That’s what led her to join the YAC.
WHAT WE'VE GOT ON OUR CALENDARSDates to Remember
MIXING IT UPNewly Elected Club MembersSeveral Lehigh University Alumni Clubs have recently elected young alumni to fill leadership roles. In Boston, Michael McCarron '04 replaces Sarah (Jones) Girotti '93. Within the Washington D.C. Chapter, Alix Echelmeyer '04 takes over from Christina Vitt '00. While it's great to see new faces in new places, we'd be remiss if we didn't take advantage of the opportunity to thank the previous leadership for all they've done for Lehigh Alumni ... thanks! |
