CAMPUS HAPPENINGSA New PresidentApril may be the dreaded tax filing month, but this year it's a cause for celebration. On Friday April 13, Dr. Alice P. Gast will be inaugurated as Lehigh's 13th president in an official ceremony at Stabler Arena. Traditional Reunion and CommencementStarting in 2007, the graduating senior class will be able to celebrate with Lehigh Alumni at the Lehigh traditional reunion as both events will happen the same weekend. This year's traditional reunion will occur May 18-19 and Commencement is on May 20-21. Four years earlier, the Class of 1957 welcomed the class of 2007 to campus and now through joint events they can both celebrate together. read more

"I bought one of the first that rolled off the assembly line," Loccisano says. He's not exaggerating. After getting interested in the automotive world thanks to mechanical engineering projects at Lehigh, the then-sophomore launched a lucrative business customizing early Hummer models for celebrity clients, including multimillionaire executives and at least one A-list Hollywood star. "I had a classic case of adult ADD, self-diagnosed," Loccisano says.
